Run for the Kids 2012

In April, we took part in a fun-run for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal. Initially, it was not my idea to participate but I felt encouraged by Mon to join anyway. It was mainly the run across the Domain Tunnel and the Bolte Bridge that attract me. I talked to a few colleagues who were interested and in the end one of them (who is our team activity lead) persuaded our boss to sponsor us ($50 pp). The total number of participants this year is 33,000.

The view was spectacular. Some participants even stopped to take pictures. Running (or walking) over the Bolte Bridge does give you a sense of achievement just because you are crossing a Melbourne icon. You will definitely feel the excitement in the air.

刘佳 (my colleague) helped snap a pic for a stranger at the 10km point while I looked on. Adrian 冇眼睇 @ Harbour Esplanade, Docklands. Bolte Bridge in the background.

Getting slightly serious as we jogged past Crown casino

Feeling tired again in the final stretch
