This is to keep a record of the 1-week period of lunch hour freedom I had in early October. My 'majikan' was out of office for the whole week and that allowed me to indulge myself with much more decent "city" food. (Majikan is the term frequently used in our daily work email communication especially when expressing our dissatisfaction of you-know-who). Lunch mate NH came out with a good list of cafe/resto and I would say BluFish on Degraves Lane tops the list. That teensy little alleyway off Flinders Lane used to be NH's hangout place before her office moved to the less posh area next to the courthouse. (Too bad...)
Monday: A Spanish resto opposite BluFish where I had chorizo baguette.
Tuesday: Rich Maha (Malaysian Indian food with ex-coursemate John Chan)
Wednesday: Sushi Ten @ Port Phillip arcade
Thursday: BluFish
Friday: Yu-U

Fresh and tender
Fish can be grilled upon request
Fried fish & chips and salad
